The Container Terminal Vinnytsia

is a modern logistics hub for containerized cargo handling that ensures efficient interaction between rail and road transport in global supply chains.
The terminal is located next to Vinnytsia Vantazhna railway station and is connected to it by sidings. The terminal is designed to receive and stack general cargo into containers and vice versa, liquid cargo into tank and flex containers, and load containers from/to 1520 mm gauge platforms.
The Container Terminal Vinnytsia is a part of Lemtrans Group, the largest Ukrainian transport and logistics operator specializing in provision of railway freight transportation services both within Ukraine and on the EU markets.
We have created an infrastructure that provides cargo owners with access to global logistics routes
Due to its favourable geographical position, availability of developed railway infrastructure and partnership with terminals on the border with Poland, Hungary, and Romania, CTV is able to offer more efficient solutions for cargo delivery both to the ports of Great Odessa and to Europe.

Container cargoes
The main specialization of the terminal is handling and storage of containers, which is performed using modern forklift trucks. Containers are stored in an appropriately equipped open-storage area. Unloading and loading of shipping containers from load-carrying vehicles to rail transport and vice versa ensures continuity of the supply chain. The terminal offers container handling services, including opening of containers, inspection of cargo, installation of additional transport devices (flexes, shields, etc.), loading cargoes into containers (staffing), unloading cargoes from containers (destuffing/ungrouping) with transfer to the client’s transport or placement of the cargo into a covered warehouse. Here, at the terminal, we carry out minor repair and maintenance of containers, keeping them ready for further use.

Warehouse services
With a ground-level storage area within the terminal, we are in a position to offer storage of grain cargoes and agricultural products: soybeans, rapeseed, peas, seed meal, sugar, etc. When stored at the terminal, the cargoes are protected from weather effects and exposure to other external factors, and provided with an increased level of security. Our warehouse services contribute to preservation of the original cargo quality, reduction of risks of damage and loss, and enhancement of the operational logistics efficiency.

General cargoes
The terminal receives cargoes for placement in an open storage or covered warehouse, carries out unloading and loading of general cargoes, which are generally transported as separate shipping units: big bags, pallets, vehicles, pieces of equipment, etc. General cargoes can be handled both individually and through stuffing/destuffing of containers with execution of appropriate documents and customs processing.

Liquid bulk cargoes
Liquid cargo handling services at the terminal include a number of specialised operations aimed at ensuring efficient and safe transshipment of large volumes of liquids, such as vegetable oils and vegetable-derived alcohols, fertilizers, wine stock, juices, etc. Liquid cargoes are transferred from truck tanks, tank containers, railway tanks with the help of pumping stations that ensure accurate metering and recording of cargo quality, compliance with safety and environmental standards. We can fill liquid cargo into container-mounted flexitanks, offering guaranteed delivery to ports around the world.

Customs and forwarding services
Customs processing at the terminal includes a full range of services required to ensure effective cargo management during international transportation. We provide support in the collection and preparation of all necessary customs documents, such as declarations, invoices, packing lists and other accompanying papers, as well as facilitate interaction with customs authorities through the customs area and customs post at the terminal.
Our forwarding services cover both transportation of cargoes by rail and organisation of the first/last mile deliveries (road transportation). Cooperation with global container operators allows us organising cargo transportation around the world.
